One of the things everyone needs to remember is that vaping, and the entire vaping experience, is subjective. Each individual has his or her own taste and opinion, and their perception is what's right for them.
However, I thought I might add a couple of my guidelines on the PG/VG levels.
PG (propylene glycol) is generally considered to be the ingredient in e-liquid responsible for throat hit. For smokers, this concept of throat hit is easy to understand.
VG (vegetable glycerine) is the ingredient in e-liquid that produces the majority of vapor (or smoke like). It is also a little sweeter and thicker, providing more of a pull on the inhale.
My preferred blend is 40% PG / 60%VG. For me, this provides plenty of vapor while reducing the throat hit. Again, for me, a 50/50 blend left my throat feeling a little 'scratchy.'
So, in general it's still extremely subjective to the individual. Unfortunately, most vaping sites and stores do not offer a blend mix to their customers. If interested in trying a different blend, check out hornytoadvaping.com
